    It's normal for cypress mulch and eco earth to be damp when it's fresh out of the bag. As mentioned above it's a good practice to let it dry a bit before putting it in the enclosure. However, even if you put it in straight from the bag, I've found that it will dry pretty quickly within a few days, and usually after one week the humidity is completely back to normal. I think it would be fine for a BP to be in 80% humidity for a few days.
