    She is probably just roaming around, not “hunting.”
    If the environment is not right, they will roam around a lot and try to get out of their terrarium. Too hot, too cold, too dry, no hiding places, all will cause a ball python to roam.
    Even if the environment is healthy, they will still sometimes roam and try to get out, for their own reasons...
