Ball Python going OUT of blue, no shed?

Hey y’all, I’ve recently acquired a new Cinnamon BP. Soon after I got her she went into blue and her eyes were definitely cloudy and skin white so I thought she was going to shed. I realized during this time though that the temps were way too hot. I had a ceramic heat emitter and the warm side on top of her hide was getting to about 100+ degrees and the cool side was around 88. I heard that is really bad so I decided to turn off the CHE. Our AC is broken at the moment so the ambient house temperature is 78ish at night and 82ish during the day and the same in her terrarium. Her terrarium is also consistently at 70-80% humidity because I thought she was going into shed. However today I lifted up her hide and her body almost looks normal (still a little cloudy) and her eyes are almost black again. However there is no shed in the tank? I’m very confused and if anyone could help, it would be much appreciated! Thanks

They go blue but then they briefly lose that blue and almost look normal, then they shed shortly after so give it a couple days and your snake will probably shed. At least I'm pretty sure that's how that one goes, we'll let an expert come in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep, they clear up after a few days of going blue and that's when you know they will shed in the next 24-72 hrs

Yup, as they said already ^ snakes "go clear" before they shed. Actually, their body secretes a bit of fluid between the layer of old & new skin to facilitate the
removal of the old skin. Just gotta be patient. It's really essential that your heating devices are controlled by thermostat though...high heat kills snakes and I
hope she's ok.

Thank y’all for the help! And yes once my next paycheck comes in I’m going to buy either heat tape or a UTH with a thermostat. This CHE is great, only downside is for a 10 gallon tank, even being on one side heats the whole tank. Thanks again!
