    I say this with extreme skepticism, but if done right, a modern day Clockwork Orange could be amazing.

    I wouldn't want to stray too far from the original, but just make it a bit more contemporary. Make the "medical" treatment more current, their "costumes" more current, etc... And maybe base it in the U.S.

    But again, I say this with extreme skepticism. It would be tough to improve upon Stanley Kubrick's version of the Anthony Burgess book, but I feel like a well done contemporary Clockwork Orange could be amazing.

    ....but, they'd probably just butcher it...
