All of this (besides the regulated heat source) depends on the health of the snake. If this snake, with the emphasis on this snake, is thriving in its environment then there is no need to change much. Thriving in this context means eating well, being of a good size for its age, and shedding well. By the "standard" though it is very likely there are humidity issues. It would be good to see a picture of the animal and its enclosure.
