Just want to thank everyone again. My radio silence was due to the fact that I’m losing my mind over finals at the moment...heh heh
It’s a bit overwhelming but like I said, this is a time for me to learn and listen so I’m taking it all in. My update is that I fed Naomi a small adult mouse on Monday. She took it like a champ! She seemed way more satisfied. I can’t believe I was giving her dinky little fuzzies *slaps own forehead*
It was only because the pet store guy I got her from told me that’s what he had been feeding her.
I haven’t had the chance to get other things going yet but I’m going to go on Amazon and purchase the items immediately. I did remove the carpet however, also I’m making sure I have my humidifier on in my room mostly always. Now I’m all paranoid she’s going to get burnt or worst, but then I’m paranoid she’ll get too cold from me unplugging the heat pad, and I didn’t have the means to remedy the situation right away so I’m all freaking out over here. By tomorrow I’ll have it upgraded to her needs as per suggested by y’all. I will also find a way to weigh her.
Questions...
How do you all feel about moss for providing a bit more humidity?
What are your favorite substrates?
Should I get Naomi a 20 instead of 10 gal tank for her now?
I heard BPs don’t necessarily love a lot of space, is that true?
How often should she be shedding and should I let her run through a damp towel and make sure every last bit of her last bad shed is off? Or should I leave her alone in that way? I just feel bad she has had it on for over a month and a half and I don’t know if it’s going to cause any residual issues for her right now.
Just want to keep reminding you all how much I appreciate your time and advice.
