    or play in their "tree" (on a sturdy vertical stand).

    I was kidding about playing chess: they cheat & clear the board with their tails...
    We have a rocking chair in our snake room, so we "rock and roam" quite often! Pax likes to go up to my shoulders and try to coil around the rungs of the chair.
