I also recently got him a scratching post for his room so he has a lot more things to climb. He's got 2 other small java gyms, and for when he wants to rest or hide he's got a tent (cat tent) with a heat pad under it and also 2 caves. 1 of those caves being in his old tank which is on the floor in the room, he usually loves to go in that one once he's done roaming the room.

Once he is done his "missions" in his room and had a little cave time or tent time, I bring him out on the couch, I put a blanket over the couch so he doesn't go in it... This snake has been in enough chairs and couches for his lifetime lol. I also bring out his favorite cave and put it beside me as I sit and watch tv with him.

He averages 3 hours out a day for the days he wants to come out. If he doesn't want to come out himself I don't force him and of course he doesn't come out 48 hours after eating or when he's shedding. Most times, once I put him back in his enclosure after his 3 or so hours of "missions", he just asks to come back out and rides the glass all cute, so I just know he loves his time out with me.
How did you snake proof your room?
