I have been seriously considering breeding again. Either super Dwarf Retics, or Blood Pythons. After much consideration I've decided not to breed, and just to get the snakes I want to keep. The main reason I have decided not to breed is my girlfriend told me that she wants nothing to do with my snakes, and will not help me with them. She isn't scared of them, she just doesn't care for them. In lieu of that I had to rethink my collection, and what I was going to do. So I decided that I will buy a Super Dwarf Retic, a Blood python( Already have it ), and a BCI. I have enough room for 7 snakes full grown to a max of about 10 or 11 feet. My tub system is a V180 rack from Vision. I am also going to buy another rack for the Juvi and Sub Adult. I have my eye on this: http://www.reptilebasics.com/reptile...ics-ve-6-rack/ or http://www.reptilebasics.com/reptile...ics-ve-6-rack/ or https://visionproducts.us/5-level-br...uart-tubs.html I like those Reptile Basic's racks because you can fit 3 different tubs in it, and that rack should be good enough to last me from birth to sub adult. I really wish I could breed, but with only one set of hands, I don't think that it would be a good idea. Things could change in the future, but I doulbt that my GF will change her stance. I asked her if she would help me with a 12 foot python and she said no. (I don't blame her.) Snakes aren't her thing. I know that a BCI will be pushing the limits as to what one person can do, but given the disposition of most BCI, I think I would be able to handle it.

A few questions:

In my research I have found that supposedly the dwarf and super dwarf retics are a bit more nasty than their larger brothers. Is this true? Another question is I've read that Retics are extremely active, if a snake starts pushing what do you guys do to help mitigate it?

Does anyone have any experience with the racks from reptile basics? If you had a choice, and money was not an issue would you go with the Vision, or the reptile basics racks?
