Picked this girl up from John Chausmer today at the CinCity Reptile Show. I hadn’t been to that show in a few years and wasn’t impressed last time - but it’s grown nicely and there were a lot of great animals! I didn’t take any pics because my husband had tagged along and it’s not really his thing... I didn’t want to bore him to tears, especially when he was a great sport for driving 1.5 hours to get my new lady.
He also chose her name: Nagini. It’s the first time he’s shown interest in any of the animals, so, despite the cliche, that will be her name
This is probably the most expensive snake I’ve ever owned, and I fully intend on her only being a pet. I’ve always always loved the ghost genes, and she will make a magnificent and impressive adult.
I haven’t had boas in a few years and I forgot how curious and active they can be. As soon as I opened her transport tub, she was out and about and wanted to get into everything.
Also can’t say enough, again, about John Chausmer. All of his animals looked spectacular and he was awesome to work with!
