Limited Supplies
I live somewhat far off from any store selling rats, so I feed frozen mice.
Is there a safe/secure online source I might use to ship to WA rather than feed 2 mice at a time?
No issues feeding and she can do two mice easily enough..
I regret not having a scale or way to weigh her or her feed yet.
4'+ BP female. No wrinkled skin, shed perfectly, I will be getting a proper scale this week.
Would appreciate perhaps an online source for larger frozen prey.

I just ordered another batch from Big Cheese. Flat shipping rate of $29. Reliable shipping with tracking info. The only bad part and this is minor is that sometimes they ran out of small rats or adult mice, but they get them back in stock in a week or two if you can wait.

Re: Limited Supplies
There are lots of quality suppliers. I've used Perfect Prey and Cold Blooded Cafe. I've heard good things about Big Cheese and Layne Labs. Rodent Pro is another. Shipping is usually a bit high, but you're able to buy in bulk. Perfect Prey is nice because they offer smaller quantity packages as well.

+1 For Big Cheese, good prices, reasonable shipping, and you can be sure they will arrive frozen. Just Google Big Cheese Rodents

I grow my own, always have. One thing though, are you SURE your snake will eat rats, if you've only been feeding mice? They smell & taste quite different, or so I hear. Some snakes don't care, others are fussy. Hate to see you stock up on rats & have your snake say "no thanks".
I've heard good things about Perfect Prey (in FL) but never personally ordered...sadly that's a LONG trip to WA & shipping frozen food gets pricey.

Oh my, as if by a summon .
No idea. She swapped from live to frozen with no issue, be they brained, blooded, or stock. She has gained a bit of girth and length, I figure 1 rat vs 2 mice (again without their weight in grams I know it is speculative), I figured I could bump her up.

Well, you can usually convert a fussy eater by feeding a mouse first as an "appetizer" anyway. I have faith in you...
I'd agree...2 adult mice is roughly equal to a small/medium rat (depends on sources, how they label their rat sizes). Easier for sure to just feed one prey item,
& some snakes only want one item per feeding too.

You are a treat and all over these boards! Ha!
She has not been fussy, live to frozen, two mice a bit apart
I like to think if I give her a shot at a rat, maybe she takes it.
Do appreciate previous responses on where to order from.
