RHP Incident/Observation

I have a baby retic (he's just under 4') in a 4'x2'x16" XPVC enclosure made by Recoil Reptiles out of OKC. I love the cage, but it came with a VE RHP (most of the enclosures I've ordered are AP with ProProducts RHPs). The VE panel cord has a plug that attaches to the panel on the inside of the enclosure, and Leviathan managed to unplug it somehow last night- I found his cage at 74° during my morning checks. Not the end of the world by any means, but it is concerning given that I sometimes leave town for the weekend. The ProProducts RHPs cannot be unplugged from inside the enclosure and after this incident, I think I'll be replacing this VE panel with a ProHeat.

You could find a way to secure the plug wire into the rhp. I would probably use aquarium safe epoxy to hold it.

I just received a VE RHP yesterday and am installing tonight. Mine came with cord clips to secure the cord and temperature probe. If you look at their product page on reptile basics they show what they are. You can get the m pretty cheaply at a hardware store.
