My two oldest males stop around late December and really don’t start again with regularity til late June. I offer once a month during that time. Occasionally they’ll take one around April. They’re around 1700 and 1500 grams, they usually only lose around 25 to 30 grams during that time. I have two younger males that I thought for sure would strike this winter, but are eating right through it. They’re around 1100 and 1300 grams. Every once in a while one might take a couple weeks off, but nothing major other then their winter break (love is in the air).
