    Oh yeah, we have them in the yard....I think she wants to keep them there, haha. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent looking at setup pics....gotta love mini ecosystems. I have kept Coral tanks for over 15 years, so I naturally gravitated to the bio tanks. Scar is technically "her snake" so whenever I end up with one, I'm for sure going bioactive!

    the biggest thing that pushed me towards it is the difference in personality. 9 times out of 10 they brighten up entirely and become way more active. although ive heard BPs can be “boring” in general. as of right now i have a western hognose whose extremely active but i also know someone whos hog is pretty hidden most times (personally i think its due to not enough clutter) but when i move to florida im getting a southern hognose eventually and gonna do bio for her (im hoping a her) aswell
