Too plump??

Just got this beautiful guy, 2 1/2 yrs old we're told. I don't know how long he is, haven't handled him much yet, but I just weighed him and he's 1,676 grams. This seems to be within the "normal" range from what I've been reading, but he just looks chunky to me...what do you think?

He is around the weight of my four almost five year olds. I would like to see a different picture. He definitely looks well fed.

Looks about the same size as my male. He doesn’t look obese to me and they often go on food strikes so I wouldn’t be concerned about his current weight.
