    Lazy males...

I have been investing and building a small breeding business and currently have 13 females that have locked with males at least one time so far this season, most have them have locked multiple times.
I have one extremely shy male that will not breed. He is a “proven breeder” from big time breeder Ken Macek, so I was trusting his word when I bought him.
He also has only eaten twice in the last few months. when I received him he was very bulky for a male, over 1800 grams.
I’m beginning to think that the reason he won’t eat or breed is that he is just too big for his own good! Maybe once he is leaned out a little more, he will get more active.
    Does this sound right?

Any other experience with males not breeding all season? Reasons?
