Chickapockalypse
Heya! I've always wanted chickens since I had a few growing up as a small child- and today I was given 3 fertile eggs and told good luck lol!
I breed reptiles so I have an incubator, and I know I need to turn them- and I know it's 99-10 or so I've been told.
Now I have no clue how old they are in egg, or if it matters, (3 weeks at most but prob not), or really how long it takes to hatch them.
Also I know what the parents were so any idea on what the babies are gonna be?
1 Barred Rock to a Rhode Island Red rooster
2 Americana to same RIR rooster
I'll be researching all tonight and tomorrow, of course, but has anyone hatched them from reptile incubators? How would I keep their humidity up without wetting the eggs?

Did you candle them to make sure they are fertile?
Its been a couple years since I hatched chickens but I want to say it was about 21 days to pip...
We have barred rocks, Americana, gold lace and a Silky/Americana.

We are looking to get chickens this spring, how did the incubation go? This would be a amazing way to start raising chickens!
