    Re: Took in a new rescue last night. Looks like a lavender albiano female(?).

    I have treated her 2 days in a row to kill the mites and will keep treating her every day for 2 weeks. She is being kept as far away from everyone else. She has them bad. Will be making a vet visit today to see if there is anything else I can do for the poor girl. I strip down and treat myself before leaving the room and have clothing just for that room. (call me paranoid if you want). Not taking any chances. They are burrowed under scales everywhere. Her eyes. After initial treatment have not seen any alive but still digging them off her. Guess after her next shed will know if everything I am doing has cured her of the infestation or not.
