    I have found a good way to rinse a snakes mouth is to take a room temperature water bottle, and poke a hole in the cap with a pin. The water wont come out if you flip the bottle upside down unless you squeeze it. This gives you a nice, soft stream of water that you can aim instead of just a sink.
