Taking a BP out when room temp below 75F

Looking forward to having a chance to take my Noodle outside to catch some rays in the summer.

Just as our body heat warms them when we hold them indoors, when you're outside (& if it's a little cooler) you'll often find that standing near your house where the
sun hits can be lots warmer. Just never leave them outside in a container "for sun", ALWAYS hold them. They can die of sun-stroke when a container builds up heat, &
it happens quicker than you might think -you could get distracted by something like a phone call. If they get real restless while you're holding them, they might be too
warm (sun + our body heat). Anyway, it's fun to see them picking up all the new scents outside too.

Noted! Definitely not planning on letting my BP fry in the sun, putting him outside in a container would just be awful in any situation. I was thinking just a few minutes outside while holding him, or possibly letting him crawl in the grass for a bit (or would that be a bad idea because of possible escape + mites, parasites, germs or whatever in the dirt?)

BTW, I only mentioned about the danger of a snake in a container in the sun because sadly, people have actually done that (in a small aquarium) & their snake died.
So not because I thought that you'd do that, but just for anyone who might be reading this & get the wrong impression of what to do, I figured I'd better clarify.

Where I live there's lots of ticks & nasty parasites (intestinal worms etc), so personally I never put my snakes on the grass. Some others do, but that's their decision.

Oh no worries, I understand and I'm glad that you mentioned it, always better safe than sorry and extra information never hurts

I'd prefer to avoid the risk of parasites and other creepy crawlies as well so I'll just hold my BP when bringing him outside and let him take in the sights.
