Female VS Male care

So I have a question if you have a male and a female in the same room together** in separate enclosures of course** does that affect either one of them as far as one knowing the other is there and wanting to breed

Yes it can affect them, males are generally the ones with which you will notice a change they can go off feed however males and females go off feed anyway, because they are ball pythons and because not only they are over fed in captivity but anything and everything can affect them.
