I have done both, I have four males. They are all mousers by my choice. I try and feed every seven days. There are times during the year when I’ll purposely offer two in one feeding, but not very often. And the two oldest take breaks from eating every January to late June. Taking only one or two during that time period. They all eat jumbo mice. They range in age from around almost three to almost 5 years old. The oldest two weight over 1650 grams, the two youngest around 1150 grams. Like others have mentioned the key is not over feeding them, obesity is a major problem with most captive snakes.
