Bloods are very similar in care to BPs, but a little bit cooler of a hot spot. Although I only have experience with one Borneo Short Tail, that's what I've read and seems to be working well. I've had him just over a year and he's an awesome snake. He's a perfect lap snake. He'll sit on my lap, explore a little and eventually plop down and chill.
I'm so jealous of your yellow anaconda!! I wish I could pull that off. That would take a small miracle to convince the girl though.

So they are pretty much just a bit larger BP with similar temperament?

I Am Flattered. I Have Had Shenna Since She Was A Baby Back In 2008. I Have Limited Her Food Intake So She Isn't That Big In The Girth. About Round As My Fat Wrist And Around Six Feet In Length And Sweet As Can Be. Loves To Be Held. I Never Thought A Yellow Anaconda Could Be That Sweet But She Is.

Your right Kevin, they are nasty.. the OP may have had one that was docile for a African Rock, but that is Totally Few and far between.. they’re no Joke and I myself do not enjoy handling species that do no not tolerate handling well. It would be a 20-25 year nightmare once a adult imo. But some people (my friend included) have nasty 18’ retics and nasty Indian Rock Pythons... just not my cup of Tea
