UTH vs CHE

No....if your room is 70* or above, don't think about a "cool end" of the cage at all. 90% of the cage can BE that room temperature with only an area of
heat added by UTH (to low 80's* max). The problem with a CHE is that a hatchling corn won't be brave enough to use the heat up above in branches-
they want a warm hide on the cage floor AND a cool hide on the cage floor. They only need that optional small area of warmth...depending on how cold
your room or house is kept. If it's 70* or above, you want a UTH that's smaller than 1/6th of the cage floor. That's all. These are NOT tropical snakes
like BPs & boas...do not cook them, please. Use a UTH with a hide box over it to trap some of the warmth. That's all.
