For my three 2018 hatchlings, I have 4 hides spaced around the cage which is 32”x30”x12”. It gives them more clutter, plus they can select from 4 different temperature zones. Depending on Mamba’s size compared to the tank, you could added 1 or 2 additional hides or just more clutter (plants - real or fake, branches, etc.).
