Should be Ball PYthon be less active in the winter?
Hey so I’ve asked this questions to a few people in the past and have gotten different answers from all of them. My question is, during the winter, is it normal to have your balk python be acting a little less active? He seems more tired all the time. At first I thought he might be getting ready to shed, but that does not seem to be it. I’ve scratched off any sicknesses because he doesn’t have any other side effects. Also he is eating just fine. It’s been going on for at least a month and started around the beginning of winter

I have four males, the two older ones are quite active this time of year. I agree with RickyNY. Looking for a girlfriend, and tearing up their tanks in the process.

Re: Should be Ball PYthon be less active in the winter?
My youngsters are acting the same, eating and hiding mostly. My adult male is rearranging his cage regularly, and my subadult male is somewhere in between...not real active but moderate rearranging compared to my old guy.
