Different Species in a split AP T10. Thoughts?

So I have a juvenile male BP in a 15qt tub and a juvenile male corn in a 10 gallon glass "aquarium." They are both getting close to upgrading enclosure sizes. I have a T10 with a divider coming from AP. Here is my plan.

House each snake in one side of the T10, so they each get 2x2'. Each side would have a separate RHP to control temps and a 6" heat tape for hot spot. My house is pretty chilly at night in the winter, so I was thinking RHP for ambient temperature and the heat tape for the hot spot. I have a Herpstat 2 on each of their enclosures now, so each side would have it's own Herpstat 2 controlling the heat sources. I would do aspen on the corn snakes side and I currently use Reptile Prime for the BP. Once one of them is due for bigger than 2x2', I will get another T10 and they'll each have their own.

Does anyone see any issue with this setup? Is there any chance the corn snake could get into the BP's side of a divided T10?

    Thanks!

The dividers AP gives are snug and unless they're not installed fully somehow, I wouldn't worry about them getting to each other. Their behavior should be fine also and not change by being able to smell each other; this isn't significantly different from their perspective to being in side-by-side or stacked cages.

I have a small juvie kingsnake and a leopard gecko sharing a split T8 right now using one of their dividers. It is easier for me to heat since their temps basically match to use the strip of 11" heat tape the cage came with (both have a 90* hot spot and 78-80* ambient). My house is warm enough for ambients to be no concern, so I just have the 1 heat source on 1 thermostat instead of heat tape + RHP.

I don't see any issue with your plan, though I would give extra consideration to the orientation of the hot sides. Having both on the left or the right may have too much heat get to the other cool side and raise temp for that one a bit much (particularly for the corn imo). I'm not certain that would happen, since they all have thermostats and such, but it is something to consider and do a few hours of testing on before adding the snakes just to be sure all the temps stay where you want them.

The hotspots will be on the outer sides of the cage, so it will be the cool sides that meet in the middle.

Sounds good to me. Just be careful not to mount the RHPs too near the center so you can remove or install the divider without uninstalling one of the RHPs. It just leans into place (this will make more sense when you assemble if it doesn't now). I'd guess it will be irrelevant if you're using the RHP for ambient since they will probably be centered on each half, not offset toward the middle.
