What makes a hypo pastel?

Hello, I'm a first time bp owner. I picked up my bp a week and half ago. Previous owner said that's what he was. Just curious what combination makes this. He said he was about 12 months old. Havent weighed him, but he's a nice size.

It's a combo with the combination of two genes, Pastel which is Co-Dom and Hypo which is recessive.

Oh ok. Would you mind posting some pictures of a pastel and a hypo? Or guess I could also Google, lol. Just Google will show all sorts of bp pictures sometimes. Thanks Deborah

it is the same thing as Hypo, at least it is in Ball Pythons.

He looks a lot bigger in pictures. The previous owner said he was feeding him 2 asf every sunday. So hes definitely healthy. I'd say hes a good 2.5 feet long. I need to weigh him.
