That annoying trend on social media!

I've been noticing this a lot more often. It's always bunch of kids brand new to snake keeping and having the need to jump in and educate people how to look after their snakes, but have zero knowledge or experience with the species.

The more unfamiliar they are with the species the more vocal they are on how the keeper should look after said species because they think all snakes are fed the same and make very generalized assumptions about husbandry.

I noticed this has become much more common on places like Instagram especially. Probably wouldn't annoy me as much if they didn't try to get all preachy and give random (and incorrect) advice that the original posters never asked for. Or my personal favorite; they don't even own a reptile.

Pinterest is my bugbear... I'm only on it as my daughter uses it but I find it annoying as there are hundreds of snake photos but so many are photoshopped with the amazing colour schemes .. many claiming they are the real colours !!
