Since you get along well with Germans, please tell me you like proper beer. Light american beers are pretty gross, imho, LOLno offense
We get about 10 Aida ship calls to Bar Harbor every Summer/Fall. The cruise run is usually NY or Boston to either Montreal or Quebec City. And yes, although not a big beer drinker, American beer sucks for the most part. I currently have Pilsner Uquell and Grolsch in the fridge but need to be schooled on some good German beers. Nothing much better than a German beer/brat/frittes stand! Königsbacher is the beer I remember most when I was in Germany last.
