Adult male bp not eating
Hey all. I have a huge adult male piebald bp that has taken 2 meals for me when i first got him and now he has refused 4 times. Im thinking its just due to the season. he was up to 2000+ grams and has just went down to high 1900s now. If anyone has any suggestions for me id appreciate it. He is housed in a 41 qt sterilite hot side is kept around 90 deg. and lowest temp is 77 deg. he is on the ecoearth coconut block substrate. humidity seems well. i get some condensation on the inside of the tub. thanks again.

It's a VERY big male the fact that he is not eating considering age and size and season is normal, just keep what you doing and wait it out.
Space feeding to every 2 to 3 weeks offer nothing bigger than a small rat up to about 75 grams.
Adult have a slow metabolism, and should be fed accordingly especially males.

My 2500 gram male will occasionally stop eating for a couple months, drop down to around 2300 and then start eating like nothing happened.
Just something they'll do this time of year.
As long as he's not looking too thin, you should be fine.

I have big male bamboo around 1900 grams and he isn’t hot at all interested in food since I got him a few months ago, he is still girth and large, so I am going to offer like every 3-4 weeks like Deb suggested.

Thanks guys. He looks great still. I will just hold what I got. He will be going in to the females tub in the next couple of days. I am going to try for 1 clutch this year. Black Pastel Piebald is the best of my possibilities with this mating.
