Yes they do! I remember when I was holding my daughter's BP at my desk, and suddenly she dashed into my partner's brand new expensive wireless speaker with a hole in it that I didn't know was there until she went in it! He was out of town, and I tried everything to get her out of that speaker before he returned. Finally I put the speaker in a large plastic bin and went to bed and set my alarm to midnight. Sure enough she had ventured out of it and was sitting on top of it. I grabbed her quick and put her away. Speaker needed to be re calibrated but otherwise okay. . . and smarty snake-- next time I held her and sat at my desk, she went right over to where that speaker was, remembering it as the best hiding place ever.Originally Posted by Bogertophis
Snakes are hard-wired to find niches to snooze in...just like they automatically find the ONLY 1" hole in the lining under your sofa or bed...or go right under the "crawl-
space" of your kitchen cupboards, and magically disappear into all upholstered furniture cushions. It's what they do for a living.
