I didnt ask for a good feeder specifically, but I dont think it was luck either.
Once we decided to get a BP, I knew I would never buy one from Petco, PetSmart, etc...so I did some research on local reptile shops/breeders, found a very reputable breeding facility that just happened to be close to me. My son and I went in and they let him handle all the babies they had at the time, most of them just curled up in a ball in his hand, one was actually pretty strikey, but Slithers was immediately interested in what was going on and "slithering" all around my sons hands and arm...that is why we chose her.
The first feed was a week later, she wouldn't take the f/t as I was told by the shop, so I was a bit concerned. I called the shop, I must have forgot that they suggested that I not only thaw the mouse, but to warm it up in hot water also...once I did that, she eats like a champ every time.
