Question about infrared heat guns and foil tape.

Check the temp of the bottom of the tub on the INSIDE. The outside temps don’t matter.

I know. I was making an example of the foil tape making a huge diff in temp. I want to make sure the temps are reading right inside the container. That the infrared thermometor gun is reading the plastic not the heat pad or foil tape. Thats what i was trying to get at
