How'd we get so lucky with this lil eater??

We got Levi last Sunday. Our first. He's an 85g male Fire, I'm guessing ~2 mo old??....He ate his first meal the very next day after we got him, no problem! I was stoked cause I heard they can take at least a week to settle in before eating. Also, I didn't know what I would have done with a live rat fuzzy if he hadn't eaten it....Then, we got a frozen small mouse yesterday because the 2 pet stores we went to didn't have any rats. I was really worried how he'd transition to f/t, but he ate it within an hour! I'm sooooo glad it's going so well! Just had to share my glee. Lol
Since he's pretty small should we feed him closer to every 5 days instead of weekly?

Weekly is fine. They'll get into a routine of eating, pooping, eating,.....etc. Stick with rats. There are online feeder stores that sell F/T rats. Someone can recommend one to you. Congrats and pictures please.

Levi is a pretty snake & that's a very nice photo of you both together. I agree with SMTHook's post, I'd feed weekly. Let's hope Levi's appetite continues,
but (hint) most BPs aren't fussy about eating when they're young, it's more typical when they mature in a few years they may "decide" to skip some meals.

That's actually my daughter in the pic.
He is "her" snake. Technically. LOL
