BP Weight Question
Is there a ballpark weight I can compare my male to based on his age? He is from a mid July clutch. He is my first and I want to make sure he is healthy. Right now he is 76g and his first two feedings have gone great with fuzzys.

There are way too many variables involved for there to be an answer to your question.
However, if you're talking mice fuzzies they are WAY too small for a BP.

Re: BP Weight Question
I meant hoppers not fuzzys. The hoppers I fed him were 12g. Should I move up to something bigger?

Ok. Typically they only eat hoppers right out of the egg for their first few meals, often 3-5 meals only and move up to larger prey.
Those are on the large end of the spectrum as far as hoppers go, which is good.
Do you have more of those hoppers?
Do you have larger prey avail?

There is not it's not about weight it's about overall body condition, health and proper feeding.

Ok, since you have one left I'd say go ahead and feed that one off just to use it up. I wouldn't be afraid to feed after 5 days if your BP seems to be cruising ahead of day 7.
Then switch to the smaller adult mice and you'll be good to go.
The question then becomes whether or not you want to switch to rats sooner than later...

Awesome. I appreciate the information. I’m still trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can.
