    I realized the other day that as much as I love my scrub python I don't enjoy handling him as much as I do my other snakes. Taking him out is more of a challenge. Let's see if we can tame the savage beast today is usually my attitude . It's not a bad thing and even though I hope this changes it's no biggie if it doesn't. I love his ferocity. He's just always fired up and doesn't really allow me to relax. If anything he heightens my senses and keeps me in a more alert state. My other snakes, especially the slower moving boas have a more calming/soothing effect on me. The bulls, carpets, and olive are all fairly active but I'm not worried about any of them tagging or pooping on me.

    I have to keep my guard up at all times with Mr. Klauss.





    This fella just hung out with me while I watched some footage this weekend.
