What kind of drinking water is best???
Ok, so I've been researching like crazy these past few days to make sure I have everything perfect for my ball python when I pick her up Tuesday. She's a 4 month old mojave female who I've already named Lilith. I want everything perfect, already have the enclosure set up, heat and humidity are right on point, all is good. But one thing I'm confused about is water. Some people say tap is fine, others say distilled, others say spring, purified, and whatnot. Which is it? All opinions and advice would be greatly appreciated!

Tap is completely fine. If it's good for my Dane, it's definitely fine for my BPs.
0.1 Reg. BP Het. Albino (Faye),
1.0 Albino BP (Henry),
0.1 Pastave BP Het. Pied (Kira)
1.0 Pied BP (Sam)
1.0 Bumble Bee BP (Izzy)

If the tap is clean enough for human consumption where you live, tap is fine fir your snake. I drink tap and so do all my pets.

Tap is fine, and you can use bottled water, but I wouldn’t recommend using distilled.

Anything is better than distilled - that can play havoc with their hydration balance. I use deer park water - only because that is all he will drink. The other pets in the house get filtered tap water. I don't like the taste of city water so I don't give it to my pets either.
No cage is too large - nature is the best template - a snoot can't be booped too much

I give mine bottled spring water its what I drink. The only pets I don't give that too is my dogs...Cause I swear they are camels in disguise.
