My Florida rat snakes are feisty-feeders that wrap & roll too. I know exactly what you mean, they'll even fall out of branches when they grab the prey, like
nothing else matters. Some snakes are MUCH scarier to feed than others are...some are very polite (like most Trans Pecos). Keeps it interesting.
