As far as I know, snakes depend on heat signatures to tell where their prey is and how their prey is oriented. The rear end could be warmer than usual, and your BP might've mistaken it's butt for a headI'm pretty sure it's nothing to worry about, as long as they get it down. Pylox has eaten small rats backwards and he's fine right now, so just make sure he gets it into his belly and actually digests it
