I run my tubs with 100 percent humidity as I am sure most do. Also if my conversion is right, you were incubating at 88 degrees so there is no reason to wait until 70 days to inspect. They all appear deformed in some form. Did you have any electrical outages? Power issues? What type of thermostat are you using?

It seems they died in the egg because of too much humidity
Nope unless your egg you wet which I would assume you would have noticed and take action.
Not all eggs are meant to be and there can be various reasons, heat issue, genetics etc, this year I had a clutch of 12, 7 were DOA the rest were kinked, never had that issue in the past from that pairing did not have any power/heat issue (or the rest of my clutches would have been impacted as well) sometime it just happens.
One certainty when dealing with live animals is that there is never any guarantee of anything.

I was waiting for one of them to pip and then to cut them. Power outage did not happen.
Thermostat used at moment was a pulse type ZUH TOMAR RT-2 (made in Poland). I will replace this in future with Microclimate Dimmer B1 HT.

i'm sorry to hear about your clutch Cybred.
the dark one looks like some kinda GHI-combo, poss. GHI Mojave but genetically that wasn't possible. i think it would have been a Pastel Jungle if it developed fully and hatched.
again so sorry.

Re: Eggs drowned
That's why I don't do the wait to pip crap. I want to ensure the highest chance of survival, plain and simple. I don't do it cause I need to "make sales", I could care less. I had a friend have a wrapped cord on a clutch last week.
Order a Herpstat and call it a day. I am pretty sure they make 220v ones, assuming that's what you are on...

i wait for at least 1 to pip and then cut within 24hours if the rest haven't. this last clutch, i waited a looong time - day 67 and they all pipped themselves. i was patient but scurred tho! (Edit: imma put up a thread soon.)

Re: Eggs drowned
Those are some sad pictures to see.
With the undershot jaws I'm not sure I would repeat the pairing to be honest - given that the colour has come in those concern me.

Re: Eggs drowned
That sucks! All the ones pictured look like they would have been viable.
The kinking, bone shifting, and bloating is just a side effect of the decomposition process and the tissues loosening.
Judging by how good they look--My theory would be: As they got bigger and required more Oxygen they suffocated due to insufficient air exchange.
Drowning would be another possibility as well: But, the cut eggs pictured show no sign of water damage and they are suspended on the plastic grating (which is good).
I did have some bad luck this year as well with a clutch of 8 and lost one egg every other week or so until I had one survivor. So: It happens.
