Yup that why I have a Bolt threw the enclosure into each end cap with a Nut on the inside of the cap. Ofcourse the caps are glued onto the PVC pipe so nothing can spin after all that hahaha. Im sure you will think of something. I’ll be watching

I’m trying to keep things removable wherever possible so I’m not planning to anchor the perch permanently. Specialty Enclosure Designs makes the perch holders I’m going to use.
They’re tough as nails. Just cut a notch in one end of the pipe and it keeps it from spinning. If the perch gets consistently knocked out of the holders I’ll consider using a set screw of sorts through the side of the cages.

Slightly different topic... once the build is finished would folks here like to see all the specs listed in this thread or make a new thread dedicated to the build and its details so as not hunt through a hundred posts to find everything? Let me know whatchyall think!

Also if you are looking for real wood perches, talk to Manzanita Burlworks. They do reptile perches, brid perches and pretty much anything in Manzanita wood. They have sandblasted and natural. Only catch is you have to call them and talk to them about what you need, kind of like Bob at Pro Products.

Now THAT would look awesome in this cage! Could be a pain to get in or out of the cage when necessary depending on the characteristics of the branch.
And yeah those perch holders are a 2” diameter, biggest ones they print.

I’m so excited to see you get this monster up and furnished. Manzanita would look amazing too. Keep updating as you go!
