Keep his humidity up and leave him alone. If he takes his feeders f/t then offer them wet for extra hydration.
The start of a good shed occurs when the skin is first forming under the prior shed, and the snake has to stay hydrated. Once it gets too dry soaking can help remove a bad shed but sometimes you just have to wait for the next one.
