Most of my animals are named after books/movies/ video games/ shows that my husband and I enjoy. We have (had if they were rescues we rehomed) Bellatrix, cat; Arya, dog; Toph, dog; Elric, dog; Tonks, cat. Our most recent addition has been Ashwinder, our lesser pastel BP.
The rodents have their own theme that I started when I was younger. Pocky is our hamster. I had 2 Guinea pigs named Pudding and Ice Cream and a rabbit named Oreo when I was in high school.
Bonus: our son's nickname is Thane.
