Thanks zig! Yea I hear they are as fierce as they come during feeding time. I look forward to seeing that. He’s been eating small ft rats and bigger mice. Do you suggest one over the other?

If he eats rats and mice I'd offer both. My kings were very consistent eaters when it came to mice and chicks. They were hit or miss with rats. Thats a great thing about snakes that don't get too big. You don't have to worry about transitioning them to rats. Kings can do just fine on mice their entire lives but I think they bulk up more on rats.
