    The castle is always a great walk,there was some grass snakes spotted there a few months ago , never had luck finding any myself,it needs loads of money to renovate it, they have a lot of volunteers that are helping renovate the old wall kitchen garden etc .
    It’s great when there’s snow on the ground too, been going for over 40 years I’ve took my kids and now my grandkids love it too
    I would of loved to see it in its prime,the old church yards cool, has a few crypts
    The Japanese bit looks so creepy when it’s foggy all the old trees are so cool in the grounds, there’s a green man festival on there next month which is so wicked
