When I had tanks I had to use heavy books to hold the lid down on those tanks that did not have locking tops. I heard a lot of negative things about the locking clips, so I never tried them.Originally Posted by Sonny1318
With my tanks with large Carpets in them I had to add dumbbells on each corner.Yeah the books and weights don’t look good, but it was only temporary for me. I knew that I would be converting over to PVC’s.
