Boas will always be my favorite. Not sure if it's because my first snake was a boa, or what, but they're always the ones I'm drawn to the most. I'm secretly trying to warm my boyfriend/roommate up by getting him to fall in love with this BP so hopefully he'll be down for a boa in a few years when he sees the additional personality/curiosity they bring to the table.
He’s close to 7 feet at 6 years old. He is a Rio Bravo Reptiles creation (Gus Rentfro). I bought him from Legacy Reptiles. He was a male holdback they where going to use for breeding.

He was 10 months old when I got him.

If you read The Complete Boa Constrictor by Vincent Russo he explains the locale.

    Boas are excellent snakes.
