It "could" indicate internal parasites...IF the growth is actually "slow". But keep in mind that young snakes seem to take "forever" to grow. There are good
reasons for this: young snakes eat young rodents, which are "lighter" meals (less muscle & bone), & young snakes are growing in length too but it's nearly
imperceptible...so they take a long time to appear bigger in girth. Remember that food supplies their energy for activity as well, it's not only for growth. So-
you need to be patient.And keep in mind that it's healthier for snakes to grow "slow"...don't be tempted to "power feed" so that you see "results more
quickly" as the snake won't be as healthy. If you are still worried about internal parasites, by all means get the stool checked, but most likely all is normal.
