Yeah, no mice! If he took rats, he will again. He's just being difficult and hitting a weight wall for males.
BP's are known to do this and he will eat again.
Offer in two weeks, and if he refuses again, offer in 3 weeks. Don't get him used to refusing.
Shayna, my adult female BP, fasts like clockwork every winter for 5 months. I offer monthly once she refuses two meals in a row and eventually she eats again.
She also refuses meals periodically during the summer, but in general, eats happily 3/4 times I offer.
BP's are weird snakes when it comes to eating.

Wise words my friend! It can get a little depressing after refusals but I'm glad to hear that it's fairly common.

You guys are awesome! I feel so much better after reading your responses. What a great resource to have as a fairly new snake owner. I can only hope to repay all the knowledge and support I’ve obtained in the last year from all of you.
